You think of strange things when your temperature hits 40..
I can remember as if it were yesterday sitting on the beach in Durban when I was a kid. We used to go to the beach in the early morning to "beat the crowds" .I was 6 years old and I was eating a mango. I looked up and a man was walking towards me on his way to the sea. He had faded red trunks on with that super cool embroidered hang ten logo, a tanned tight skin ,the kind you can see the veins underneath and a blow up rubber body board under his arm. As my eyes followed him I saw that he also had a neat half moon series of scarred puncture wounds that stretched from the band of his costume around to his spine and back out over his ribs.

Speed Dialer for Bryan
This is my version of the legendary "speed dialer" that Rich Pavel designed some years back to so much acclaim. It features my rocket fish nose up front blending into a pulled in Fish tail. The double bumps are blended and positioned in relation to the fins and tail points, not coz they look cool! They are there to add release in turns and narrow the fish tail and help rail to rail transition. Deck has concave and dropped rails. Bottom is rounded V into single within double to deep spiral out the back. Quad setup with custom double foil canard rear fins. SPEED>>>>>>

Flying wing fin and latest SlimSlowSlider
So I have been looking at fish fins and wings and George Greenenough fins etc and decided to do a high aspect laminar flow fin for my nose rider. All I can say is why did'nt i do this earlier! You can actually feel the board paddle faster. And the Nose riding stability is just amazing. The green finish is a super matt military paint that normally goes on guns . I figured that the matt surface would hold water molecules better and increase laminar flow.

SlimSlowSlider for Lorraine
SlimSlowSlider for Lorraine. She is going to do the artwork which looks super rad. Snakes and ying yang stuff. Cant wait to see. Came out at 9.8 x 23 x 3 1/4. This is the std '66 Bing template with extra tail rocker, western Red Cedar tail block and a deep , deep nose concave and lots of tail roll for extra nose riding fun at the Berg.
Boys and Pointy sticks
OK so I have a bit of a weakness for sharp pointy sticks. This is my latest. Beautiful, I think my next big wave gun is going to have the same nose profile. Any how with in 10 mins I had cut my self twice. This is the sharpest blade EVER. Oh and i realised that my Hitachi blades were made from the same laminated steel. Pretty cool!
