Some old pics of Guppies and a Quadraphonic

Well found these while filing away masses of arb pics and references. If you would like one for winter let me know. The new '10 template is a little less pulled in the nose and has more release off the tail to hold you into steeper winter faces. Guppies also made with Std Keels and quad setups.

Pictures You GOT to keep

Every now and then you see things that touch your heart. Thanks to modern technology we get to capture these moments so we can hold on to them. The first is a iffy shot of my home break much later in the day than when I was out. Perfect waist high glassy waves coming through with that hazy Autumn atmosphere. The second is Luka and a turtle just really connecting. That guy just followed him all round the tank about 50 times! amazing....

More inspiration from nature.

these are some things that have inspired me over the last few days.

A stunning mexican blanket Bing resin tint. Shiny golden hair. My flex keel fins that everyone laughed at and now everyone wants. And my pinliner which should arrive in the next few days.

All so simple all so beautiful

Betty Boo

Well the sun is getting lower in the mornings and making that cool autumn haze. Thought i'd show you all some pics of Betty. She has bootaaay, and curvy rails all round. Up rails in front to 50/50 full egg to up rails in the tail. Rocker point and rail planshape meet at the hips. Deep 2/3 concave blended into the rocker line and rails. Put a scoop out the tail ala Cooperfish as this seems to really lock the tail in. Also takes away some of the bulk in a heavily rolled tail. I can't stand thick tails and noses on boards. The Rising sun BettyFin is busy curing still and needs final fitting so I put one of my Noll templates in to test.

Hey look is'nt that Betty

So after all the extreme colour work of late it was a pleasure to work with a very minimalist white board. This is the Piggish like prototype that goes by the name of Betty. Very curvy and built for one thing and one thing only. The Berg is calling out for some nose time.
